| At Semaphore we have trained retrievers both as Hunting companions and to compete in different types of retriever competitions such as Field Trials, Hunt Tests and Obedience Titles. These dogs have made many of their owners happy by retrieving ducks, geese, pheasants, doves, chukkars over the years. As in most endeavors, experience counts and this is most certainly evident in Semaphore's success over the years. Dogs in training at Semaphore have the benefit of being trained with a smaller number of dogs, as we keep our dogs in training to a maximum of 10 total. We have limited openings for training, and this is especially true in the early fall/winter months. Training rate is $600 per month plus birds.
